Exile International is seeking a qualified and passionate Social Media Coordinator to come alongside EI and partner with us in restoring rescued child survivors of war to become leaders for peace through art-focused trauma care and holistic, rehabilitative care.
The Social Media Coordinator is a highly motivated, creative individual with experience and a passion for connecting with current and future audience members/partners. That passion comes through as he/she engages with the audience on a regular basis, with the ultimate goal of retaining current partners and growing a following to obtain more partners.
The Social Media Coordinator will work closely with Exile’s Creative Team to plan weekly posts for the organization’s Social Media platforms – Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Collaborating with Creative Team to create, curate, and manage all published content (images, written, video) for weekly posts on Social Media Calendar
Maintaining a regular publishing schedule:
Plan posts that work effectively on each respective Social Media platform
Input weekly posts into automated schedulers
Devising and executing plans for growing Exile’s Social Media following
Updating posts during the week when necessary (requires flexibility as this will sometimes require working outside of normal hours)
Interacting and engaging with current audience by:
Liking comments on Exile’s Social Media posts
Replying to comments on Exile’s Social Media posts
Replying to any direct messages on Exile’s Social Media platforms
Making suggestions for updates in design (ie: Facebook Timeline cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, Twitter profile, Blog, etc.)
Monitoring trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy and report findings to Creative Team
