Abe: from slave to barber

From slavery & trauma…

“I was home and it was early in the morning when a group of rebels attacked our village and captured me. I was a slave. I had to execute all orders that were given to me. I was traumatized. We were beaten if we failed to obey. The suffering became too much and we ran away to someone who brought us to Exile International!

… to healing & empowerment

There, I was introduced to trauma healing, leadership training, and discipleship. These programs helped me in my journey to healing. Today I am a barber and I play guitar during worship service. I am studying hard and have hope for a bright future. I thank God for Exile International for the love and care. God bless!”
