Welcome to EI’s Peace Lives Center

Where rescued child soldiers become young peacemakers!

EI’s care programs exist because war has torn children from homes — forcing several to participate in violence and leaving many orphaned. In eastern D.R. Congo, 100-200 children are rescued each month. Without proper care, most become street children or return to rebel armies. But there is hope…

Through holistic care programs — lives are being transformed!

Here, 158 rescued child soldiers and children orphaned by war have found a safe haven and compassionate caregivers helping each to traverse the complex road of healing and rehabilitation.

Thank you for continuing to make each child’s healing and hope possible!
