My favorite day!!! 21 single mothers and their children arrived at Children of Peace today from Teso Bah slums. We were able to love them, encourage them and tell the women how incredibly strong and beautiful they are!
Most of these women lost their husbands because of the LRA. One woman, Grace, has been through so much. All in ONE day in 2003, her three children were abducted and her husband killed. One child has returned, but the others have not.
I will be spending some one-on-one time with her this week to hear more of her story.
Again, completely humbled and amazed by the strength and perseverance of these individuals!
