Because of your generosity this Christmas, young men and women in Exile’s Entrepreneurship Program are stepping into work with confidence and possibility — even after years of trauma and loss.
At Exile International, healing is just the beginning. Through our Entrepreneurship Program, child survivors of war are equipped with practical skills that help them build brighter futures and strengthen their communities.
Last week, our Exile Congo Team guided a group of soon-to-be graduates through the Ready for Work curriculum, which focuses on essential life skills, job readiness, and basic business planning. This training doesn’t stop at theory. Youth are intentionally led into their communities to practice what they’ve learned in real-life settings.
After completing the curriculum, participants took a bold step by applying their new skills through group-based small business initiatives. They began selling small items within their communities, gaining hands-on experience in entrepreneurship, teamwork, and financial responsibility.
These moments may seem small, but we are witnessing God’s redemptive work as these young men and women step into adulthood with renewed courage, confidence, and faith.
Thank you for walking alongside them and making programs like this possible.
